All of us…cynics, skeptics, religious, and agnostic…have prayed at some point in our life. And what we said, and who we were praying to might have been different, but our goal was the same: we needed some kind of divine intervention. And yet despite our best efforts and sincere pleadings, oftentimes the “miracle” we were seeking didn’t happen.
