3,000 Hours!

An Investment In A Child That Makes a Difference In Eternity

When it comes to the church, we have about 98 hours in a year to make a difference in a child’s life. The average parent has 3,000 potential hours with their child!

Springbrook’s children ministry decided to question our strategy to get parents involved in the primary responsibility to help kids advance in their spiritual growth. No one has more potential to influence a child’s relationship with God than their parents.

The church needs to leverage their time, money, and efforts toward the 3,000 hours that parents have. We needed to find a way to tap into those 3,000 hours. Our goal is to help the family unit as a whole.

Springbrook has created a Family Ministry mindset where we invest time and resources creating programs for parents and kids. We will continue to answer the question, “How can we get parents to teach what we are teaching their kids?” Our focus is on what we want parents to do at home. We believe what happens at home is more important than what happens at church!

WHEN YOU ARRIVE

When you arrive on a Sunday morning, you will enter through the main entrance and go to your right. You will be greeted by one our Orange Shirt team members by the tree house. If you are a first-time guest, we will get some pertinent information about you and your child to enter into our system. You will then be given a security name badge and armband for your child to wear and a security sticker that you will need in order to pick up your child. If we need you anytime during the service your security number will appear on the screen in the auditorium.
